is the result of both my newfound passion for knitting and the
encouragement of my family and friends. My mother-in-law
taught me to knit two years ago and said, "You'll love
it!" Since then, I've hardly been without needles in my
hands, which has caused her to say, "You're
hooked!" She was right then, and she's right now!
many scarves, hats, and children's sweaters (for my daughter and
numerous babies of friends), I took my best friend's advice and
knit a purse to felt. Since then I have been designing,
knitting, and felting dozens of purses. My sister-in-law
pushed me to put my purses for sale on the street in the annual
Eastown Bizarre Bazaar in Grand Rapids. Business was great,
and I've been expanding the purse and hat collections since then.
serves as my portfolio, and my husband has been a wonderful
supporter by helping me with its creation and by adding photos and
information as my business grows.

selection, knitting, felting, photographing products, and working with

before children, I studied art history and fiber art, attending Calvin College and
then Western Washington University, earning my BA from WWU in
1993. Nonstop knits provides me with constant color and
design projects, as my love of art and passion for knitting merge
with a marketplace for quality, handmade accessories and gifts. I look forward to serving you
